Double-Din Changer: Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

I like things big.  I have a big truck, I have a big gut, and I have a dachshund. But he’s overweight, so it still counts. That’s why I like this new Pioneer deck. It’s a double-din deck, so it’s twice the height of that pansy single-din unit you’ve got in your Taurus. As if […]

Even Thinner: JL 2-1/2″ Deep Sub

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

I had just finished the Memphis Audio post, talking about their super thin subs, when I decided to bounce over to JL Audio and see what their new stuff is like. Sure enough, they have a thin sub too, but this one is 2-1/2″ thick! Thin mounting depth, and it requires a minimal sealed […]

Right now we know the remotes are substantially thinner, with a range of 2,000 feet, and the system’s supposed to be easier to install. On their site they’ve slapped up some specs and renderings that look very, very cool.

(Hey, if Chip Foose uses and endorses it, it can’t be bad.) But now they offer an […]
