Ride of the Day: 1968 Chevrolet Impala Coupe

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

Big freaky rims on an old Chevy — it doesn’t sound like it would turn out looking good, but it certainly looks fly in the case of this ’68 Impala. Not quite the super-lifted boxes with 26 inch rims, but certainly not standard fare either.

Ride of the Day: 2005 Dodge Ram 1500

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

The sweet thing about new trucks is it doesn’t take much to bring out the hotness. Take this 2005 Ram 1500, for instance. It’s not bone stock — this guy’s in the military, so he doesn’t have a lot of time to spend on it — but it still winds up kicking some ass.

Ride of the Day: 2006 Acura RSX

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

Riced-out rides take guff from almost anyone who doesn’t have one. However, most people refuse to accept a couple of facts.  First, they aren’t going away — and second, unless you drive well and have a bunch more ponies than they do, these little, riced-out, techno-laden street killers might just take your old-school monster.

Ride of the Day: KITT Re-Visited

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

We were a bit skeptical but hopeful about the new KITT in the re-imagined Knight Rider series being a Mustang. After seeing it this weekend, we’re not worried in the slightest — KITT is bad.  Though he’s not a GM product anymore, we just can’t hold a grudge.

Ride of the Day: 1940 Ford Sedan

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Sometimes you’ve got to give a tip of the hat to the old school rides out there. Though this old Ford looks pretty stock, it still kicks off some custom style all its own while largely keeping to its classic roots.

Ride of the Day: 1969 Dodge Dart

Friday, February 15th, 2008

The thing you need to know when you’re lining up across from a ride like this is — he’s got you. He had you before he woke up this morning. He’ll be out of the hole and gone before you can even hook up. In short, these old girls can move in one hell of […]

Ride of the Day: 1985 Toyota MR2

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

If you’re lucky to build your first project car with your dad, it doesn’t have to be special or super high budget — hell, it doesn’t even have to be a really great car — it just has to be fun.  This father and son MR2 is just that, fun.

Ride of the Day: 1996 Ford Mustang

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

If you want a car that you can turn into damn near anything, then quit looking at old-school muscle and start looking at the late model Mustangs. It’s not that they’re supercars — it’s that with a few bolt-ons in the right place you can have a tiger by the tail.

Ride of the Day: 2004 Chevy Blazer

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Old Blazers are tight — but done correctly, newer model Blazers kick the hell out of the old series. Take a look at this black badass and tell us the slope on the rear window isn’t made for this kind of mod. Slammed, black, and low suit the new Blazer to the core.

Ride of The Day: 1991 Honda Civic

Monday, February 11th, 2008

Ok, we admit it: we’re mortal. If you go and put Final Fantasy graphics on a tricked-out anything, we must cave to the awesomeness and start our Wayne’s World “We’re not worthy!” routine. From the nitrous bottle to the sword-wielding figures on the side, this Civic smokes.
