Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Oh, the JDM front clip — every American tuner seems to want one for their import. For the uninitiated, JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market, which means if you want JDM parts for your American Honda, you’re gonna have to ship ‘em in on a boat. But if you buy your front clip from Password […]

Take Off The “anium” And It Turns Dirty: 5Zigen Titanium Mufflers

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

5Zigen is a hardcore tuner company — so hardcore, in fact, that reading their website is kinda like reading Spanglish, except instead of Spanish it’s Japanese, and there’s no “ish” at the end of it. Their website may not make much sense, but 5Zigen does make some cool parts, like this muffler and accompanying exhaust […]

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

Back in the day, modders had a hard time getting a custom intake manifold for their Hondas and Acuras — but things have changed since the late ’90s. Now you can get a bolt-on intake manifold for your B-Series motor, with 9″ runners and the ability to run eight injectors, all off-the-shelf. Whether you’re running […]

Monday, January 14th, 2008

Although it’s a great car, the Honda Fit lacks the punch it needs to be taken seriously. KraftWerks can add some boost to the mix with its Rotrex C15-60 supercharger — it pumps out 5 PSI for about 40 to 50 extra ponies.

For you 2002+ Civic Si/RSX drivers, Neuspeed just made it easier to breathe in. Their P-Flo air intake kit adds about 8-10 HP to your VTEC, and you can install the kit easily — even if you’ve never installed air intakes before.

Ride of the Day: 1999 Honda Civic

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

One of our favorite things to see is a show car with road dirt on it roll up to the show under its own power with maps and slurpy drink cups scattered all over the interior. We take more interest in this car than in one that backs itself off a trailer and has a […]

Five More (Expensive) HP For Your Fit

Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

Though Honda can’t seem to make enough of the Fit to keep up with demand, it’s a little anemic power-wise — which is why K&N just introduced the Typhoon Air Intake System. It lends your Fit an exrta five horses, and a better sound, too. For $230, this short-ram intake lets your engine breathe easier and […]

Ride of the Day: 99 Honda Prelude

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

So your ride isn’t in the new 50 Cent video. There aren’t mags lining up the world over to drape scantily clad models across it for a cover shot. Everyone else is in the same boat. If you’re cool-headed, you realize that your ride isn’t for other people to look at — it’s for you. […]
