Selling A Custom Ride: Sold!

A few months ago I wrote a post titled “How To Sell A Custom Car,” in which I outlined the different options for custom car owners who’re trying to sell their ride. Well, no one was biting, even after I dropped the price $5,000 from my original price point.  But when my wife lost her job, I bit the bullet and decided to list it for my absolute lowest price. And, finally, a couple of potential buyers approached me.

One was a friend, but he needed to sell his truck before he could buy mine.  I met the other guy through the scene, and he ended up having enough money to buy it once I dropped the price. The funny thing: he didn’t want to look at it, or drive it. He just gave me half down, and I’ll collect the other half when he picks it up tomorrow.

And that’s one way to sell a custom car.
