Ditch The Camber: H&R Triple C Camber Bolts
By Kevin Whipps
Now, before I get some poindexter up here telling me about how you need some camber for proper racing applications, this is Full On Custom, and here we talk about custom cars and trucks, not about race cars. Camber, both positive and negative, have their uses, but most of the time on a lowered car, if you’ve got excessive amounts of negative camber, you’re going to start burning through tires like OJ burns through gloves. H&R makes this camcentric bolt for McPherson strut applications, to help either increase or decrease the amount of camber, depending on what you need.
If you’ve got too much camber, this bolt’ll kick it back out, or vice versa, up to three degrees in either direction. I’m not sure what the price is, but it’s got to be cheaper than a 215/35 18″ tire.
