Complete Cabbie: Dynacorn/Tuckers ‘47-’55 Truck Cab
By Kevin Whipps
I happen to be the proud owner of a 1951 Chevy truck, and to say it’s a little bit rusty would be like saying that the Grand Canyon is a little bit deep. Fortunately, my ‘51 is still salvageable, but if it weren’t, I’d consider this mighty nice custom restoration option. It’s a cab — yes, a complete cab, doors and all.
Now, you might be wondering if you could buy a truck that has a good title and swap this cab, and to that I would answer with a firm, “I’m not sure.” You might want to check with your local motor vehicle department. However, if you want your restoration done right, you’ll see this is a good option.
