EFI: Bolt-On Conversion By FAST

Electronic fuel injection: People either love it or hate it. The simplicity of a carb’d car is really attractive when compared to the wiring-heavy system you find in a car with EFI. The people at FAST have designed a system they call XFI which is a full conversion system for any small-block Chevy V8. It comes with everything you need to convert your carb’d car to the new EFI-style XFI system — including a new distributor, a harness, and a standalone computer that you mount on your firewall — and the wiring isn’t even that bad.
Now, it’s not cheap — the site claims $4,600 or so — but if it works, it might be the hot ticket for your ride.
