Most of the Superbowl ads were funny, computer-generated fantasies. But the Ford commercial, where an F-150 was slung around on a centrifuge, wasn’t fake — it was real. They built the set around the centrifuge for effect, but then they really hung and swung the truck by its front tow hooks, at 60 mph and six Gs!
