Car Club Corner: Vertically Challenged

For this week’s installment of the Car Club Corner we’re featuring Vertically Challenged, a custom car and truck club that started in Texas and now has chapters across the country. After the jump, find out more about VC.

Who They Are

Vertically Challenged is made up of custom cars and trucks built in the “mini-truck” style where the focus is on being low and rolling on big wheels with an adjustable suspension. Their members want to put forth a positive image of the car and truck scene, because they’ve seen all too often the bad press that custom car and truck guys can receive.

What They Drive

Custom cars and trucks that drag the concrete are the main staple of VC, but they’ll allow anything with four wheels to petition — from tricked-out Impalas to frame-dragging mini-trucks and everything in between.

Where They’re From

Vertically Challenged formed in Texas, but it now has chapters all across the country.

Why You Should Care

Not every car and truck club started in California. The car scene on the 3rd Coast of Texas is huge too — so huge that it’s turned into a nationwide club full of high-quality rides. Even better, they’re working to make their community better through the club, and who can complain about that?

i see these vc rides everywere from magazines to car shows across the southeast. i love to see these cars and trucks. they are amazing… top notch… its almost unreal how far these guys have gone to perfect their rides. although vc seems to be one of the top clubs in the modern show scene, i cant believe the trucks riding around the moncks corner SC area with vc logos on their back windows!!! is this a joke? are they really a part of vc SC chapter? we dont ever see them at any of the SC or NC shows. do they park outside the gates were you cant see them? they dont even come out to the night spot were all of the local clubs hang out on saterdays anymore. i guess the s-10 in the front is to embarresed to come out when his truck smokes so bad that you can hardly see the vc logo on the back window. like i said, i love to see vc rides up close at shows, but something should be done with the ones from moncks corner SC!! bring them up to vc standards so we can enjoy these rides locally. so we could be proud to bragg about vc car club having a chapter in our town!!! keep up the good work vc and keep us drooling( not laughing ) thanks!!
