If you’re customizing an older car or truck, you’ve probably looked into an independent front suspension for your ride. Switching from a leaf sprung front clip to a fully independent clip with disc brakes and modern technology is definitely an improvement over the horse and buggy designs of early vehicles. Scott’s Hotrods sells an IFS kit that works for any car from ‘28-’01.  The kit features fully adjustable upper and lower a-arms and a rack and pinion steering system, and you can use it with airbags or a coilover setup. If you like it shiny, you can get it with stainless steel a-arms and billet spindles, but Scott’s also sells a more cost-friendly bare-steel option.
