Stainless Steel Brake Lines
By Calvin Lewis
I like working on my car, even routine maintenance stuff like brake work, because I not only save money, but I also ensure I’ve got the best parts on my ride. For instance, I replaced my old brake lines with stainless steel ones. They’re safer, and they increase my braking performance, supposedly even more than if I added pricey cross drilled rotors.
Prices online start around $50 and go up to about $200.

I put a set of these on my motorcycle, and the difference was amazing. I’ve been holding off swapping the ones on my car, simply because I like the braking feel and I’m not sure if it would make a noticeable difference with power assist brakes…

Definitely a plus on motorcycles. The feeling is completely different.
