Ride of the Day: 1999 Honda Civic

One of our favorite things to see is a show car with road dirt on it roll up to the show under its own power with maps and slurpy drink cups scattered all over the interior. We take more interest in this car than in one that backs itself off a trailer and has a team of close to a dozen people wiping it down with feather dusters. Cypher Scantland’s ‘99 Civic is just such a commuter machine.

Why We Like It

Cypher realizes that rides are meant to be driven, so he does. His Civic has a boatload of car show mods to it.

What We’d Change

Though it’s cool that this ride basically has a bone stock engine except for a few parts here and there, a kick in the rear in the HP or suspension department wouldn’t kill the resale value any.
