Want to add 5 HP to your Ford F250 or F350? Advanced Flow Engineering just released two exhaust systems for 2003-2007 models equipped with the 6.0L V8 Powerstroke diesel. In addition to the extra horsepower, the new systems provide up to 16 more ft/lbs of torque, lower exhaust gas temperatures, and improved throttle response.

First up: the Large Bore HD uses 4″ aluminized tubing and a high flow 7″ aluminized steel muffler to give more flow through the exhaust. The HD comes in cat-back, turbo-back with cat, and turbo-back without cat flavors. The Mach Force XP steps things up a notch with all stainless steel construction and an 8″ muffler. Street pricing starts around $485.

Nice. I’m not that familiar with the newer PSD trucks, but on older ones like my 7.3L ‘95, the downtube is the restriction point. Opening it up is reputed to do wonders for performance.

I don’t doubt with a 4″ pipe like this that it makes a big improvement on these trucks.
