The Future of Racing Gauges

The Gtech-Pro EGS (Expandable Gauge System) not only does the job of half-a-dozen gauges, it also reminds us of the much-drooled-over information module in the old R34 Skyline. But while the Skyline’s LCD reported RPMs, oil temperature, water temperature, and Gs, the Gtech-EGS also displays wideband O2 data, battery levels, and more — all in US or metric formats from a racing-tach form-factor.

On the left side of the main face is a separate module containing two buttons and scroller which allow the driver to access data quickly.  (The control module disconnects for separate mounting.) And the EGS also features an adaptive alarm system that lets you configure separate alerts for things like high oil and water temperature.

The EGS features no internal hard mounts, instead floating on a high quality rubber material called Santorprene, which GT-Tech Pro claims a heat resistance of 350F. (Why is the inside of your ride 350F again?)

Street pricing starts at $280, but add-ons can boost that another $40 to $240. But even $500 seems reasonable for this kind of high-tech sweetness.
