Want to drop and bag your ‘63-87 Chevy truck, net a better handling ride, and convert to a rack and pinion steering setup at the same time? The guys at Porterbuilt have created two different bolt-in crossmembers that give you all that — and more.
The Dropmember is designed for use with Air Ride Technologies’ Strongarms, and when combined with Slam Specialties‘ RE7 airbags will lay your truck out on 29″ tall tires. The Dropmember C4 is designed support Corvette C4 suspension parts and either a coilover or a shockwave style airbag, which lets you build a canyon-carving truck with bolt in components.
The price? $1200 for the crossmember, and a bit more for the rack and parts — a lot cheaper than fabbing your own.
