Technostalgia’s tag line – “Today’s Technology, Yesterday’s Cars” – pretty much sums up the spirit of the resto-rod phenomenon, and they’ve made a name for themselves supplying LED lights to fit classic cars. The one pictured above is a complete taillamp housing for a 1940 Ford that includes bright, modern LEDs for stop, tail, and turn signal functions with a wide viewing angle.

But the tech doesn’t stop with LEDs. Though these lamps are a complete replacement for the factory lights, they’re reengineered to fit tighter against the fender, and the external screw has been eliminated for a cleaner look.

Technostalgia also carries just the internal components to replace your old tired bulb-based lamps with modern LEDs. They’ve got stuff to fit everything from ’30s Fords to ’60s Chevys.

The kits’ll set you back about $150, though you can snag the internal component kits for more like $80.
