I seen so many reviews on this product and I’ve been seriously considering purchasing one but it costs so much and I’m a broke college student :( lol (GO GATORS!). Anyways I was even going to get a factory refurbished older model (AVIC D2) off ebay but it still costs an arm and a leg, and it doesn’t play DVDs…just DVD-rom for the navigation. Which is why I now want this model.

The AVIC-D3 is the most affordable in-dash GPS system there is on the market. Its hard to beat all of the features/add-ons that you can get; Bluetooth, Blurtooth-audio, satellite tuners, steering wheel controls, IPOD control right from the dash, External outputs, etc.

The only con that reviwers agree on is that you have to pull the nav software out of the single CD slot to play any other CD’s/DVD’s/MP’s/WMA/DIVX, etc. But if you have an IPOD connector, you should have a huge need to shuffle disks. The IPOD connector even plays video! Also, the AUX jack in the front will allow video too with a special cable.
