Generally, if you muffle the sound, you’re usually also stifling the exhaust flow – but Aero Exhausts uses a jet-engine-like turbine design that they claim improves air flow while keeping the noise police at bay. Not only do they claim performance gains over factory systems, but they also claim improved fuel mileage as well.

Why is it that large protrusions on a hood capture gearheads’ imaginations so much? Looking at the Shotgun Bill scoop from Speedway motors, it’s not hard to see why. This thing looks mean. The name says it all; its duel inlets make it look like a double-barrel shotgun sticking out of your hood.

The Ford Ranger can’t run with the big trucks – unless it has a completely home built suspension system that allows four feet of travel to the front wheels. At that point you could put the little ranger almost anywhere just like this one that lives in Kentucky.
