The process of crafting a one-of-a-kind ride starts with vehicle selection — and (at least in our book) you earn extra style points for starting with something bland and boring because taking it a direction no one else would consider. Chris from Pennsburg, Pennsylvania took his ‘86 Fiero — nicknamed “Witch” — and gave it a V8 heart transplant. And his donor wasn’t an old truck with a small-block 350 either: it was a ‘92 Northstar aluminum V8. Now that’s some hardcore Wicca in action.

Mods include:

Engine:

  • ‘92 caddy alluminum v8
  • Buds Outback’s bored out piston sleves with North* pistons
  • Delta cams E303 mustang cam
  • Performance Connections ported, polished, and flow tested heads and intake
  • polished crank
  • custom chip
  • New engine wire harness, and mounts

Suspension:

  • full polly with S.T. lowering springs in the front
  • coleman racing coil overs with summit’s 275# springs in the rear
  • Wheels - 18″ ADR phase 3’s wraped in nitto 555’s

Interior:

  • 2 TVs with GPS navigation
  • voice control, cd, dvd, mp3, and pc card funtion
  • Auto meter guages

Why We Like It

There’s no getting around it: sleepers are sweet — as anyone who revvs an engine at the light with “Witch” will soon learn. And this ride casted some crazy mojo spells on us when we saw it.

What We’d Change

C’mon, Chris — loose the bra. Covering a ride this sweet in cheapo vinyl is a sin against the Wiccan car gods.

Wow, nice Fiero. I wanted one of these when I was a kid. I think Pontiac discontinued it right at the time they made it look really cool — 1986!

  2. Jon Says:

I believe they discontinued them in 1987, because my buddy had one. I had a 1984, and that 4 cyl was bulletproof.
