That’s sweet looking, but unfortunately Mazda put a weird stereo in my car that is nigh-on impossible to replace.
Ahh well, maybe I can fit it in the Amphicar…

How about doing a post on this product or something similar? Didn’t you guys drop a navi in the Project Yukon?

Jeff: We installed a D1 in a Denali truck, and we’re in the process of installing another D1 in the Yukon. It’s a pretty arduous process as we had to remove the entire dash and wiring harness to get at an A/C plenum to modify it in order to give us enough room to fit the D1 in the dash pod. And then we’ve got to modify the front of the pod for fit. I’m sure we’ll post pics when we get closer to finished.
In the meantime, we’re also building a custom center console for the Yukon to hold a touch screen. Look for posts on that soon as it’s about half-way complete.

that headunit is sick. but im having trouble finding a place around where i live that will custom the fiberglass a surround for it for my 2002 jeep grand cherokee. everyone says it cant be done when i see people in forus that have gotton it done at places
