Fly or Why? A Ride Fit For Batman
By Sean O'Hara

Seeing this rather unconventional Batmobile might lead you to think we would make fun of it. This would be an incorrect assumption. Anyone with a sense of humor this good cannot, in good conscious, be laughed at.
We found this custom ride on the Strange Vehicles site and (like gawkers to a highway traffic accident) just couldn’s stop looking. It comes complete with many standard Batmobile features including tail fins, blacked out wheels, and a sloped nose. Granted, they’re bolted to something, um, a bit unusual. We’re sure the nose has something to do with the huge blower sticking out the hood.
Hell, we’d say that it’s an honest attempt to make the dark knight proud. (Though we’d like to see where the twin 50 cal. are hidden.)
What do you think? Let us know in comments.

That’s awesome. I love that there’s no attempt to hide the original bug underneath. It’s common to hear people lament about Not being able to do something ‘cuz of what they ain’t got. This enthusiast either did with what he had or intentionally sought out to put this together. Either way, it’s a rare reminder of ultimately why we mod. It’s just fun. 50 Cal’s would fit great inside those big ol’ front fenders with the headlights flipped down.

Fong, I’m not sure that’s a Bug underneath. I thought it was at first glance, but noticed that it’s a 4-door. Maybe that blower really is attached to an engine…

Uh, 20″ spinners might help!

I’d be willing to bet that’s something French under there.
