Foose’s Nitrous 6 Wheels
By Sean O'Hara
We count Chip Foose on the short list of people we’d love to meet, mainly because we can’t help but respect his agreeable demeanor — and most importantly his beautiful, classic-but-edgy designs. So it should come as no surprise that his wheels follow the same ethic. Witness the Nitrous 6, which exudes history — but which no one would mistake for old.
The Nitrous 6 is available in black (shown here), polished chrome, and grey. It’s a one-piece wheel measuring either 24” x 10” or 22” x 9.5” — and looks more than a little like a kick-ass remake of the old Craiger SS wheels we drooled over back in the day.
A set of the Foose brand Nitrous 6 wheels will run you about $2,000 before you wrap them in rubber. Wow: show-car-quality rims and a decent price point — now we know why Chip is always smiling.

I’ve never been a fan of bling wheels, but somehow Foose can make a modern wheel with enough classic style to keep it grounded. Dunno how he does it, but I’m glad he does.
